JAGESHWER: The Jageshwar Temple, located in Almora, Uttarakhand, is a revered Hindu pilgrimage site dedicated to Lord Shiva. Nestled amidst dense deodar forests at an altitude of 1,870 meters, this ancient temple complex consists of around 125 intricately carved stone temples dating back to the 7th–12th centuries
Believed to be one of the twelve Jyotirlingas, Jageshwar is associated with Adi Shankaracharya, who is said to have revived the temple's spiritual significance. The temple is located along an old pilgrimage route to Kailash Mansarovar.
GOLU DEVTA TEMPLE: The Golu Devta Temple in Almora, Uttarakhand, is a renowned shrine dedicated to Golu Devta, a revered deity considered the divine dispenser of justice in Kumaon.
A unique tradition at this temple involves devotees offering petitions on stamped paper, believing that Golu Devta grants justice to the deserving. Once their wishes are fulfilled, they return to offer bells as a token of gratitude, resulting in thousands of bells adorning the temple premises. The temple’s distinct customs and deep-rooted faith make it a significant religious site in Uttarakhand.

from Pithoragarh to Dahrchuala.

Luch will be on the way, dinner and over night stay in Dharchula.
Morning after breakfast drive to Nabi village via Malipa, Buddhi, Chiyalekh, Garbyang, Napchulu villages.
The road through narrow mountain valleys along the kali river, & we get to see many beautiful water falls.
Lunch will be on the way dinner and & overnight stay in Nabi village.
Morning after breakfast drive to Jolingkong for Adi Kailash Darshan
then visit Gaurikund and Parvati Sarovar.
Lunch will be in Jolingkong, return back back to Nabi village for dinner & over night stay.
ADI KAILASH:
Adi Kailash, also known as Chhota Kailash, is a sacred mountain located in the Pithoragarh district of Uttarakhand, India. It is considered a revered pilgrimage site for Hindus and is often associated with Mount Kailash in Tibet, the abode of Lord Shiva.
Standing at an altitude of approximately 6,191 meters, Adi Kailash is surrounded by breathtaking landscapes, snow-capped peaks, and pristine lakes, including the Parvati Kund, which holds religious significance.
Morning after Breakfast, drive to Nabhidhang for Om Parvat darshan, on return visit Kali temple and Ved Vyas gufa. Then drive to Narayan Ashram for Dinner & Over Night stay.
OM PARVAT : Standing at an altitude of 6,191 meters, Om Parvat is part of the Himalayan range and is visible along the route to Adi Kailash. Pilgrims visiting the area consider it a divine manifestation of Lord Shiva. The sight of the sacred "Om" is believed to bring spiritual blessings and inner peace.
NARAYAN ASHRAM :
Located on the route to Adi Kailash and Om Parvat, Narayan Ashram is a popular stop for pilgrims.
Narayan Ashram is a spiritual and social service center located in the Pithoragarh district of Uttarakhand, at an altitude of 2,734 meters. Established in 1936 by Narayan Swami, the ashram serves as a center for meditation, spiritual learning, and social upliftment.
In the early morning after breakfast, you'll check out from Ahsram and drive to Dharchula for lunch, by 4x4. Change your vehicle and then drive to Patal Bhuvneshwer for dinner & over night.
Morning after Breakfast, Visit Patalbhuvneshwer and then Drive to Kausani. On the way visit Bagnath temple at bageshwer, Baijnath.

TEMPLES TO VISIT
PATAL BHUVNESHWER: Patal Bhuvaneshwar is a mystical limestone cave temple located in the Pithoragarh district of Uttarakhand, at an altitude of 1,350 meters. Dedicated to Lord Shiva, this ancient underground cave is believed to be the abode of several Hindu deities, with intricate stalactite and stalagmite formations resembling divine figures.
According to legend, King Rituparna of the Surya Dynasty discovered the cave in the Treta Yuga, and Adi Shankaracharya later revived its spiritual significance in the 8th century. The cave extends 160 meters long and 90 feet deep, with narrow passages leading to mesmerizing rock formations that are believed to depict Sheshnag, Kalabhairav, Ganesha, and the Saptarishis.
BAGNATH TEMPLE :
Bagnath Temple is a revered Hindu temple located in Bageshwar, Uttarakhand, at the confluence of the Saryu and Gomti rivers. Dedicated to Lord Shiva, the temple holds immense religious significance and attracts devotees from across India, especially during the annual Shivratri festival.
Built in 1450 AD by the Chand Dynasty ruler Lakhmi Chand, the temple showcases intricate stone carvings and traditional Nagara-style architecture. The name "Bagnath" translates to "Lord of Tigers," and it is believed that Sage Markandeya meditated here, invoking Lord Shiva, who appeared in the form of a tiger.
BAIJNATH TEMPLE:
Baijnath Temple is an ancient and highly revered Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, located in the Bageshwar district of Uttarakhand, India. Situated at the banks of Gomati river, it is known for its serene ambiance and stunning architectural beauty. The temple is believed to have been constructed in the 12th century by the Chand Dynasty, showcasing exquisite Nagara-style architecture.
The name "Baijnath" comes from the word "Vaidyanath," which translates to "Lord of Physicians," as it is believed that Lord Shiva, in his healing aspect, cured King Rituparna of a disease here. According to legends, Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati resided in the area, and the temple marks the spot of their divine presence.

The temple is believed to have been constructed in the 9th century during the reign of the Katarmal Kings, from whom it gets its name.
